What I love about being a groomer:
I love grooming all the different breeds of dogs. I love that they come in all different shapes and sizes, bursting with different personalities and style requirements. Being a groomer allows me to work alongside dogs which I have adored from a very young age. It’s such a lovely way to spend your day.

What I love about being a groomer:
I love working with the different types of behaviours. Working at Innoscent Spa, really allows you to nurture a relationship with the dogs due to it ethics and salon practices. It’s the most rewarding thing seeing a dog gain more confidence and trust in you. I find great pride in knowing that the dogs I groom are handled with the best welfare.

What I love about being a dog groomer:
Getting to spend my days with dogs and building trustworthy relationships with them, is the thing I love most. I love that you can be creative with grooms and everyday is different. It was through the adoration of grooming my own dog Ava that I knew I wanted to be a groomer. She was my inspiration.

Meet Emily
We’re thrilled to welcome Emily to our team! Emily has been grooming for just over two years and, in her words, “accidentally fell in love with it.” Her favourite breeds to groom include Westies, Scotties, Schnauzers—any dog with a distinctive cut that showcases their personality. As a self-confessed “terrier girl,” Emily adores their sass and charm, from tiny Yorkies to Giant Schnauzers.
For Emily, grooming isn’t just a job; it’s a passion. She loves every aspect of it, especially the moment when owners see their freshly groomed pets and beam with pride. Her journey into grooming began unexpectedly when she applied for an apprenticeship, but it quickly became a perfect fit.
Before joining the salon, Emily worked with dogs in kennels and daycare, though she admits she prefers a fresh and clean dog over muddy paws! She’s passionate about creating a safe, relaxing environment for every dog, forming bonds to ensure even the most nervous pets feel at ease. While grooming has its challenges, Emily thrives on learning, teaching, and, of course, sneaking in cuddles with her four-legged clients.
Poppy
From a young age, Poppy has had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. Her caring nature has been a driving force throughout her life, leading her to spend much of her career supporting adults with learning disabilities. However, her passion for working with dogs has always been where her heart truly lies.
Poppy is also a devoted dog owner, with three cheeky pups of her own, so she understands the trust it takes to leave your pets at the groomers. She knows how important it is for dogs to have a positive experience and come home looking and feeling amazing. As a groomer, she’s passionate about providing that same level of care and treats every dog as if they were her own.
After training with iPET Networkd and earning her Level 3 qualification in dog grooming, Poppy is excited to begin her career with us.
While miniature poodles hold a special place in her heart for their loving and cuddly nature, Poppy loves grooming golden retrievers, Labradors, cockapoos, and, of course, poodles.
